The XR Health Alliance is dedicated to the responsible development, investment and adoption of immersive technologies in healthcare. XRHA aims to share best practice, support and connect inclusive and diverse communities of patients, creators, researchers and healthcare professionals.

XRHA support statutory and commercial organisations to develop and deploy their Immersive Healthcare Strategies, our team also offers a range of Health Advisory, Consultancy and Growth Support across digital health. We support Digital Health SMEs, Charities, Statutory Bodies, Pharmaceuticals, Corporates and Private Medical Insurers harness the power of technology and innovation to scale within the healthcare industry. Our diverse team of experts offers a wealth of experience and knowledge in digital health, combining strategic insights and hands-on expertise to drive transformative results.

Ross O’Brien

Ross is a Digital Health Growth Advisor with expertise in scaling companies in the UK in AI and Immersive Healthcare sectors.

Ross supports hundreds of companies to navigate; sales and procurement, regulation and compliance, market analysis and segmentation, partnership and product development, customer success and retention, investment and fundraising.

Ross is the former MD of WYSA for the UK and Europe. Wysa is the world leader in AI mental health support with 6 million users across 95 countries. Ross worked within the NHS as a Provider and Commissioner of Services for over 13 years exiting as an Innovation Director.

Sarah Ticho

Sarah Ticho is an award-winning artist, curator, entrepreneur, and change-maker operating at the intersection of health and storytelling using immersive technologies.

She is the creator of leading arts and health XR experiences, including SOUL PAINT which has garnered accolades, including the SXSW XR Special Jury Prize and Best Health and Wellness at The Games for Change Awards in 2024.

In 2022, she received the International Virtual Reality Healthcare Association's Hero Award for her work supporting victims of the Nashville Tornado. She continues to curate exhibitions showing XR and healhcare experiences, including EMBODIED REALITIES as part of Dreamy Place Festival.

Jonathan Craven

Jonathan Craven is a data privacy, cyber security and compliance leader with expertise in leading compliance change across the public and commercial sectors.

As a consultant, he has advised clients on significant business compliance improvement through the application of behavioural psychology principles, process optimisation, and internal governance frameworks, as well as regulatory compliance frameworks and external audits. He was formerly the Global Privacy Operations Lead for iRhythm Technologies and also previously the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Central and North West London NHS Trust.

He is a Guest Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth, and also regularly contributes as a conference and podcast speaker to events including #RISK, Women in GR&C, GRC World Forums, and teissTalk.
